(4-5 lbs.) AAS Winner 1970. The most popular commercially grown butternut, setting the standard with a sweet, nutty flavor. Tan-skinned fruits are 8” long, blocky and have a small bulbous seed cavity. Excellent baked, steamed or microwaved, and stores well. 92 days.

Late maturing; 80 days or longer until first fruits mature. Most produce on long vines and need room to sprawl. Male flowers will appear first, but only female flowers produce fruit. Brix is a measure of natural sugar content.
