Jonathan Griffin

Owner

I am proud and excited to announce that I am the new owner of NE SEED COMPANY INC. I am eager to carry the business forward into its next chapter. This transition comes as Ted Willard has made the decision to retire, and we are sincerely grateful for his many years of leadership, dedication, and contributions to NE SEED COMPANY. Ted and his incredible staff have built the strong foundation and trusted reputation the company enjoys today, and we wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement. I am a 10th generation vegetable farmer myself and am excited to join this exceptional organization and honored to work alongside the growers and professionals who make up the seed industry. My wife Lisa and I have two wonderful children, and we enjoy spending time together on the family farm.

President and General Manager

I am pleased and honored to announce that I am the new President and General Manager of NE SEED COMPANY INC. It is truly exciting to step into this role and continue the company’s strong legacy of providing high-quality seed products and dependable service. I am grateful for the opportunity to build on the foundation that has been established, and I look forward to working closely with our customers, partners, and our team as we move into this next chapter together. As a 10th generation Connecticut farmer and specifically a cut flower farmer, I bring a vast knowledge of the flower industry here to NE SEED COMPANY INC. My husband, Paul and I have three beautiful boys, and we spend our free time with them watching their various sporting events and activities.

Product and Fulfillment Director 

For more than 24 years, I have proudly worked with NESEED Company, helping customers select the right seed varieties and develop successful planting techniques. My career in the horticulture industry began in 1980 after graduating from University of Connecticut. Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for working directly with growers and customers, providing guidance based on experience, product knowledge, and a commitment to helping them achieve the best possible results. I enjoy sharing practical advice that supports successful planting and healthy growth in a wide range of horticultural applications.

Janet Bishop

Operations and IT Manager

For more than four years, I have been a member of NESEED Company, where I work closely with inventory management while also assisting and supporting our customers. I enjoy the variety that each day brings and I take pride in helping to ensure products are organized, available, and ready to meet customer needs. Working directly with customers is one of the most rewarding parts of my role, and I appreciate the opportunity to provide friendly service and contribute to a positive experience for everyone we serve.
