LaEstrella F1 Hybrid Winter Squash Seeds

Description

(6-10 lbs.) LaEstrella F1 Hybrid Winter Squash features semi compact vines that will produce 2-3 fruits at the crown and then send out short runners producing 1-3 additional fruit. Each fruit has a slightly flattened round shape with beautiful mottled green and orange skin. Sweet, nutty flavored flesh.  Shows some resistance to PM, CYMV, VMV, WMR. (C. maxima) 125 days.

Trivia: LaEstrella is the favorite variety for the “Pumpkin Chunkin”.

175-300/oz. (Seed Variable);
2-8 lbs./acre.; 7-10 days, 72°F. Start early indoors in pots and transplant after last spring frost. Can also be seeded directly in the field after soil temperature is 72°F.
