(1-3 lbs.) AAS winner 1966. Golden Nugget is a prolific bush winter squash bred to taste like a sweet potato. The fruit is small and orange with orange flesh. It is sweet, buttery and delicious stuffed or in soups and pies. When harvest immature it can be prepared like a summer squash. Stores well. C. maxima. 85 days.
