Description
(8-12″) Tom Thumb was introduced to the US in 1855, and is still the shortest, cold hardiest pea (20°F) available. It is a shelling pea but the pods are tender enough to eat when young. Plant in cold frames, containers, the garden and hydroponic systems. 50-55 days.
