Lupino ‘A Seme Grosso’ is a Lupine bean. Lupine beans are older and more nutritious than garden beans. They are having a renaissance now in the west but have always been popular in Latin America, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. They are good in soups, stews, bean salad and pickled. They have attractive leaves and flowers for the edible/ornamental garden too.
