Gorgeous but spread
These flowers are bright, cheerful, and fun to grow as they really attract the monarchs and we always find the monarch caterpillars on them. Mine were very drought-tolerant and hardy and stayed attractive all summer. Also the deer didn’t bother them. But they do self-sow a lot if you don’t cut off the seedheads when they form. Then they can be a little hard to get rid of.
