Description
Callaloo Amaranth is a Caribbean favorite and the ideal superfood for all parts of the US. The smooth, light green leaves are tender, nutritious and delicious and can be used along with the young stems as a spinach replacement in recipes. The prolific plants can reach up to 6’ tall, withstand heat and humidity and often self-seed. Sow a week after last frost, 10-20 days for germination.
