Description
(2-3′) Clover, Medium Red is the most widely adapted clover, grown everywhere in the continental US except for the Great Plains and the Southwestern states. It mixes well with grass and is used for hay, pasture and soil improvement. It grows rapidly and can produce 2-3 hay crops per year. It will usually bloom the first year it is seeded. Plant on any kind of soil except for light and sandy soil. To improve poor soil wait at least a year after seeding to plough under. Plant when soil temperature is 45ºF or warmer.
