We are celebrating our 25th anniversary with the 2013 growing season! We here at NE Seed would like to thank you for choosing us to help satisfy all of your seed needs. This 2013 Growers Catalog is bursting with great new varieties for your best season yet!
NE Seed has some exciting melon offerings for 2013. You will be bragging about our flavorful El Gordo F1 Tuscan-type melon weighing in at 15-20 lbs! The Electra F1 is sure to become a customer favorite with its fantastic flavor, small seed cavity, and wide disease resistance. We have also included four new melons to our selection that will withstand long-distance shipping.
We are proud to introduce two new hybrid habanero peppers for the 2013 growing season. Yucatan F1 and Xaman F1 have deep coloring, a typical habanero shape, are very aromatic and hot, hot, hot! Both varieties have intermediate resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus.
You will find many new tomatoes this year. The Red Anjou F1 is a pear-shaped tomato that will delight all with its great taste and heirloom-like qualities. For our east coast producers, our Red Planet F1 is out of this world and perfect for areas where Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus is a problem. The Dolce Vita F1 baby tomato has a very sweet taste and is highly disease resistant. We also want to mention our Uva Roja F1 grape type tomato that tastes sweet and makes an irresistible presentation packed.
NE Seed is featuring some great new squash this year. The Green Griller F1 and Grey Griller F1 will have you firing up the BBQ!
Try adding the deep-orange Indian Doll F1 to Porcelain Doll Pink F1 and Blue Doll for a trifecta of Harvest displays.
We will again be offering the Porcelain Doll Pink F1 pumpkin and proudly contributing to the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation for breast cancer research this year. The foundation was a huge success last year thanks to your bountiful support. Plant the seed and spread the word! Nursery growers are also encouraged to join us in our contributions to the Pink Pumpkin Patch Foundation . We are offering Porcelain Doll F1 Tags for the sale of Porcelain Doll Pink F1 Plants. A separate Nursery contract must be signed so please specify that you will be selling the plants when placing your seed order.
