Immense, fluffy double flowers up to 6" (15cm) are displayed on long, graceful stems. Plants are free blooming with rich green foliage. Zinnias are considered the king of summer annual. Plants are easy to grow from seed, producing blooms in 5-7 weeks, and will continue to do so until fall. Unsurpassed for beds, borders, containers and cutting.

Plant: Select sunny location with rich soil and plant after weather warms. For earlier blossoms, star seeds indoors 4-5 weeks before setting out. Cultivate soil, enriching with organic matter and flower food. Firm over seed. Keep soil moist.
Care: Keep soil moist, but try to avoid getting foliage wet. Feed when flowers appear. Pinch young plants for denser foliage and more blooms. Remove spent flowers.



FROM OUR SEED CATALOG:
  • (24-30”) 5-1/2 inch blooms in scarlet, gold, lavender, purple, orange, pink, red and yellow. Tetroploid mix with more resistance to powdery mildew.

    (Z. Elegans) Annual. 2,000-6,000/oz. 3-7 days. 70-72F. Sow on sterilized surface and cover lightly. Can be sown directly because Zinnias transplant without difficulty. Sow 4-6 weeks before sale date in packs and 6-8 weeks in 4” pots.
