Hy-Brix Tomato May 27, 2010
Reviewer: Nancy Law from Cornelius, NC United States
I grew this tomato in 2009 and I am growing it again this year. It wins the blue ribbon for absolute best flavor ever- the fruits are just incredibly delicious!

I only had one plant survive to planting time as the other seedlings I started developed a fungal disease.

The Hy-Brix plant was terrific, producing the best most flavorful tomato I've ever had the pleasure of popping in my mouth.  It fruited prolifically through mid August.  As the year progressed and the sun exposure declined, the sugar content and flavor also decreased somewhat, but it still beat every other cherry tomato in my garden.

Though somewhat prone to disease, it's become by far my favorite tomato because of the incredible taste.  I'll continue to order the seed and grow this cultivar.  I'll just start more plants next year and be especially vigilant about avoiding conditions that might encourage fungal disease in the seedlings.
