PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

(30-50 lbs.) For immense novelty pumpkins weighing 30-50 lbs., remove all but one fruit from vines. Needs plenty of water, fertilizer and space. Fruits are round and pinkish-orange. Seeds can be dried for snacks. Fine for pies and cooking. 120 days.

GENERAL GROWING INFORMATION
7 days, 72ºF (Seed Variable) Sow directly in peat pots or packs and flats. Start 4-5 weeks before sales. Can be planted directly into hills in the garden. Harvest in fall.

Sowing: Plant in late spring after the last frost, in full sun or light shade. Soil should be warm. Enriched with a vegetable food and compost and cultivated. Firm soil over seed. May be grown among corn plants.
Care: Feed monthly and keep soil moist. Pinch off all but 1 or 2 pumpkins per vine for larger fruit.
Harvest: Cut from vine using pruning shear, leaving 3" of stem.
