Organic cucumber seed certified by Baystate Organic Certifiers.

Tasty and refreshing cucumbers have become one of the worlds most popular vegetables. They are easy to grow, and produce an abundance of tender fruit throughout the summer. The elongated fruits of slicing types are perfect for salads and other fresh uses. Small young fruits may be used for pickling.

When and Where to Plant: Select a sunny, well drained location and sow seed in the late spring when the soil is warm and all danger of frost has past. For earlier crop start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before setting out. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist.
Care: Keep soil moist, and feed monthly. Tie vines on trellis to save space.
Harvest: Pick at any size up to 6-8"/15-20 cm and before fruit color begins to turn yellow. Pick regularly so fruit will continue to form.
