Easy-to-grow plants are covered with beautiful flowers in a range of bright colors. These fragrant, free blooming plants tolerate drought and poor soils. Excellent for bedding and pots Young leaves and flowers have a flavor like watercress and may be used in salads.
Plant: Direct seed 1-2 weeks before last frost where winters are severe. For earlier blooms, sow indoors-in peat pots 4 weeks before last frost. In mild winter areas, direct sow in fall.
Care: Fertilize when first flower buds open. Water every 10 - 14 days if rainfall is not adequate.
Tip: If roots are disturbed, seedlings do not transplant well.
