This is one of the best chili peppers for grilling, stuffing and roasting. It is green ripening to red and is delicious fresh or dried. The peppers grow pointing up towards the sky. It has thick walls and grows 6-7" long and 1-1 1/2" wide. Mosco is a Mirasol/Guajillo type pepper with 5,000-6,000 Scovilles of heat. It was bred by the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station. 75 days.
21-26 days, 72ºF. Start early indoors and transplant well after last frost. Grow seedlings at 62ºF night temperature and 70ºF day temperature. Lower temperatures permanently reduce plant productivity.
