Italian Seed Collection Indeterminate Tomato Open PollinatedWhat do these symbols mean?
(3 1/4 oz.) This is the only strain of San Marzano tomato allowed in Campania Italy, the birthplace of pizza and tomato sauce. The fruit are blocky and firm with full bodied flavor. They are deep red inside and out. The plants are high yielding and the fruit is very uniform. Good variety for home gardeners, farm markets and large scale processing. Tolerant to V and FW. 80 days.
7-14 days. 70-75°F. Sow early indoors in cool climates. Sow 3-5 weeks before predicted last frost. Transplant outside 6-8 weeks from sowing.

Sowing: In seedbed or outdoors in spring. Transplant seedlings about a month after sowing when the plants are about 20 cm tall. Plant 40 cm apart. Leaving 80 cm between rows. We suggest using supports for the plants.
