Our Culinary Herbal Seed Collection includes:
Sorrel Broad Leaf
(24”-36”) Vigorous grower also known as Dock. Large, light-green, lance-shaped leaves and a carrot-shaped taproot. Used in vinaigrette, soups and salads. High in vitamin C. Full sun.
Basil Large Leaf Italian
(18-24") The favorite of Italian cooks because it is sweeter than other varieties. Abundant medium-dark green leaves up to 4" long. Used in pesto, tomato dishes and soups.
Parsley Italian Dark Green
Resembles celery leaf. Popular for seasoning. 78 days.
This is slower to first leaf harvest than slow bolting but takes cut and come harvesting. It is darker green and the plants are sturdier than slow bolting. The leaves are extremely aromatic and it can grow in greenhouses. The plants are tolerant of cooler conditions. 60 days leaves, 90-105 days seeds.
(24”-36”) Longer stalks and less hairy than spearmint; purple stems and very fragrant leaves are used to flavor tea, candy, liquors and medicines. A rampant grower so surround with a 10” edging to confine roots. Full or partial sun.
