CROP FAILURE  
Like its name, this is a variety that produces straight 8" (20cm) fruit that is crisp and delicious. Skin is slightly striped. This variety is an All American Award Winner, and popular as a slicing type. Enjoy fresh or sliced in salads. Plants are easy to grow and vigorous growers.

Sowing: Sow seed directly into loose, fertile soil after weather has warmed. For a head start, sow indoors 4-6 weeks earlier. Loosen and improve soil with organic materials.
Care: Water generously and fertilize monthly.
Harvest: Pick regularly when 8-10" (20-30cm) long, and before skin begins to turn yellow.
Your Health: Low in calories, supplies some vitamins and minerals.

  • (OP) Heirloom. A classic favorite, this cuke has excellent flavor, even dark-green color and white flesh. Uniform 8” x 2” fruit have small seed masses. Trellis for best shape. 65 days.

    1,000/oz. 7 days, 72F. Saleable plants in 3-5 weeks. Sow direct into peat pots. Pots must be planted.
