Qty:  
Small, blocky fruit and tender skin add to an ideal pickling cucumber. This variety actually is a dual-purpose type. While it is perfect for pickling, it can be used fresh as a slicer if allowed to reach full size. Easy to grow and a vigorous grower.

Sowing: Sow seed directly into loose, fertile soil after weather has warmed. For a head start, sow seed indoors 4-6 weeks earlier. Loosen and improve soil with organic materials.
Care: Water generously and fertilize monthly.
Harvest: Pick when fruits are about 4" (10cm) long while texture is firm and seeds are small. Pick often so plant will keep producing.
Your Health: Low in calories, supplies some vitamins and minerals.

  • A medium-green, black-spined, slightly tapered pickler. Resists Cucumber Mosaic Virus and scab. 55 days.

    1,000/oz. 7 days, 72F. Saleable plants in 3-5 weeks. Sow direct into peat pots. Pots must be planted.
