An extremely early variety. It is very resistant to winter colds thus guaranteeing an excellent harvest. This cauliflower is particularly sensitive to sudden changes in water supply. A vigorous plant that produces a fairly large, round, violet colored head that is well protected by its foliage.

Sowing: in a seedbed from May to August. Transplant about a month after sowing when the plants are about 20 cm tall. Transplant in rows 70 cm apart leaving 30 cm on the row.

In the Australian continent sowing time has to be postponed about 6 months.



FROM OUR SEED CATALOG:
  • Sow at the end of June. Large plant produces medium- sized violet head. Matures 110-120 days after planting.

    7,000/oz. 10 days 70F. Grown like cabbage. After germination grow seedlings at 60F. Sow direct or transplant into packs for sale in the early Spring. Plants should be sold young, 4 - 5 weeks. Can be grown in Spring from plants sown in late April or in the Fall from plants set out in late July.




ESPAÑOL:
Variedad muy precoz. Su resistencia al frío invernal permite una cosecha de calidad excelente. La coliflor es particularmente sensible a las oscilaciones hídricas. Planta realmente vigorosa que produce una bola esférica de tamaño medio de color violeta bien protegida por hojas.

Siembra: se efectúa en semillero desde mayo hasta agosto. El transplante se efectúa a la distancia de 70 cm. de hilera a hilera y a 30 cm. en la misma hilera aproximadamente un mes después de la siembra cuando las plantas han alcanzado una altura de aproximadamente 20 cm.
