This vigorous and showy vine is easy to grow, producing a profusion of beautiful 4-5" (10cm) flowers, summer through fall. The attractive foliage is dark green and very dense, making vines useful for covering arbors, trellises, porches, banks and tree stumps. Also attractive in patio pots and hanging baskets.

Plant: Select a sunny location with well-drained soil of average to low fertility and plant outdoors after last frost. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist. Soak seeds in water overnight, to hasten germination.
Care: Do not fertilize or over water. Where appropriate, provide support for climbing vines. Tolerates drought.

Annual. (8-10”) Rapid climbing, ferny vines fill out with trumpet-shaped, cherry-red flowers to create a hummingbird hot spot! Works well with other vines.
