Excellent variety, uniform and abundant cropper, ready for marketing in 60 days. Vigorous plant with abundant, deeply serrated foliage. Differs from other varieties for its attractively large, round and uniform tops that flower above the foliage. Harvested by cutting at the foot before flowering is completed. The pleasant flavor makes these turnip tops particularly suitable for side dishes after boiling, steaming or simply braising in a pan.

Sowing: Sow directly outdoors broadcast or in rows at intervals of 15-20 cm with 40-50 cm between rows. Can be sown throughout the year, but the best results are obtained with autumn sowings. It is advisable to sow repeatedly at intervals to ensure regular harvest all year round.

  • Strong plant with rich, jagged foliage. Stands apart from other varieties because of its large, round tops which flower above the leaves. Reaches maturity in 60 days.

    6,000-9,000/oz. 14-16 days 70F. Plants can be sold 4-6 weeks after sowing. Offer plants for sale in early Spring or July for Fall gardening.




ESPAÑOL:
Selección excepcional uniforme y productiva que alcanza la madurez comercial en 60 días. Planta vigorosa con follaje abundante y fuertemente recortado. Se distingue de las otras por la belleza de los brotes gruesos, redondos y uniformes que florecen por encima de las hojas. Las plantas se cortan al pie antes de que su floración se complete. Su agradable sabor las convierte en muy idóneas para preparar sabrosas guarniciones, tras haberlas cocido o guisado o simplemente salteado en la sartén.

Siembra: Se efectúa directamente en campo, a voleo o en hilera distantes 40-50 cm. entre las hileras y 15-20 en la misma hilera. Se puede sembrar durante todo el año pero los mejores resultados se obtienen sembrando en otoño. Se aconseja sembrarlas escalonadamente para obtener el producto todos los meses de año.
