This unusual purple podded snap bean features smooth, round, meaty pods. They are delicious fresh and unbeatable for canning and freezing. Vigorous plants produce heavy yields. Pods turn dark green when cooked. Excellent fresh or frozen.

Sowing: Sow seeds in a sunny location when all danger of frost is past. Plant in loose, fertile soil and moisten.
Care: Water regularly and fertilize when 3" (7.5 cm) tall. Thin seedlings to 6" (15cm) apart.
Harvest: Pick when pods are plump.
Your Health: Beans are low in calories, high in fiber. Supplies Calcium, Phosphorus and moderate amounts of vitamins A and C.

Easy to grow and pick Bush bean germinates well in cooler soils. The 5” round stringless purple pods turn dark green when cooked. Resistant to bean beetles and especially good for freezing. 51 days.
