Famous for flavor. Heavy yielding plants produce long wide-podded and tender beans-excellent for small home gardens. Delicious fresh, but also good for freezing.

Sowing: Select a sunny location and plant when all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed. For best results, loosen soil with spade or fork, fertilize with vegetable food and smooth with rake. Firm soil over seed and keep moist. Plant bush types every 3 weeks.
Care: Support pole beans with stout pole, trellis, string or wire. Water by soaking soil, to reduce danger of disease.
Harvest: Pick regularly when pods are 4-6" (10-15cm), before sides bulge.
Your Health: A low calorie, high fiber source of minerals and vitamins.

Bush-type, Italian flat bean with a similar flavor. Upright bushes hold pods off the ground for easy picking. Begins producing 5” long, tender beans early and continues high yields. 59 days.
